This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Sky Pups Dash (the "Service") collects, why, and your choices. By using the Service you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Email address | Account creation, sign-in, and sending verification / password-reset codes. |
| Display name | Shown on leaderboards and in multiplayer. |
| Password | Stored only as a salted hash (argon2); we never store the plaintext. |
| Gameplay data | Scores, height/mileage, coins, unlocks, match results — to run the game, leaderboards, and progression. |
| Consent record | The time and version of the Terms/Policy you agreed to, for compliance. |
| Reported chat excerpts | When a player reports a message, the most recent chat of that room or match (up to 30 lines, including the reporting player's own messages) — to review the report and act on abuse. Deleted within 90 days. |
| Block list | Players you blocked, with the display name shown at the time — to keep their chat hidden from you and to keep you out of the same quick-match room. |
| Technical data | Basic request metadata (e.g., IP for rate-limiting/abuse prevention). |
| Analytics & usage data | App-interaction events (e.g., screens and features used) and Google-generated device/browser identifiers, collected via Google Analytics in our production web and app builds to understand usage and improve the Service. |
To provide and secure the Service: authentication, sending transactional emails, leaderboards and multiplayer, saving your progress (coins/mileage), preventing cheating and abuse, and complying with law. In-game chat and emotes are transmitted in real time to other players in the same room or match and are not stored on our servers, with two exceptions. When a player reports a message, we store the most recent chat of that room or match (up to 30 lines, including the reporting player's own messages) so that we can review the report; we keep it for up to 90 days and then delete it. When you block a player, we store your block list (the player you blocked, with the display name shown at the time) so that the block keeps working. We do not sell your personal data.
We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), based on your consent (e.g., account creation), and for our legitimate interests (security, anti-abuse), as applicable.
We use service providers to run the Service, including Amazon Web Services (hosting; and Amazon SES to deliver verification/reset emails), Cloudflare (content delivery), and Google Analytics (Google LLC; usage analytics in our production web and app builds). They process data on our behalf under their terms. We may disclose data if required by law.
We store small values in your browser (e.g., a session token, guest best score, and preferences) to keep you signed in and run the game. These are not used for third-party advertising.
We keep account data while your account exists, and gameplay records as needed for leaderboards and integrity. Verification codes expire shortly after issuance. Reported chat excerpts are deleted within 90 days of the report; a block list entry is kept until you unblock that player or delete your account.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights or delete your account, contact us at [email protected].
You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on the website: log in, tap your name (top-right), then PROFILE → DELETE ACCOUNT. Deletion removes your email and password from our systems permanently. Verified leaderboard runs are kept for board integrity but anonymized to "RETIRED PUP"; coins, unlocked characters and mileage are deleted with the account. See our Account Deletion page for step-by-step instructions and details.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child provided data, contact us to remove it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., hashed passwords, transport encryption) to protect data, but no method is 100% secure.
We may update this Policy; material changes take effect when posted or as required by law.
